PRO: Second season in Saskatchewan…acquired in a trade from Montreal in February, 2009 for the Riders second round draft picks in 2009 and 2010…signed as a free agent with Seattle Seahawks in 2008…originally drafted by Montreal in the 3rd round (23rd overall) in the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft.

2009: Started 16 regular season games, the West Final and the Grey Cup game at right corner…made Rider debut in week 1…finished the regular season with 35 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, two tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries.

2008: Dressed in four games as a backup defensive back and special teams player…made his CFL debut in week 5...attended camp with Seattle Seahawks, but was released prior to the season.

COLLEGE:  Started in 12 games for North Dakota in his final season…registered 47 defensive tackles, two tackles for a loss, and nine pass knockdowns…started all 13 games in his junior season and recorded 68 tackles, one tackles for a loss, 11 pass knockdowns and an interception.

PERSONAL: Donovan spent the off-season in Winnipeg.
